Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB Lamp 13W

ReptiSun 10.0 is specifically designed for desert and semi-desert terrarium animals that naturally live in open, sun-exposed habitats and require high levels of UV radiation. This high-output UVB terrarium lamp provides strong and effective UVB and UVA radiation to support optimal vitamin D₃ synthesis, proper calcium metabolism, strong bone development, and natural activity and feeding behavior.

It is suitable as a UVB lamp for bearded dragons, uromastyx, desert lizards and other diurnal species with high UVB requirements.

For optimal performance, UVB light should not be filtered through glass or plastic, and the basking area should be positioned according to manufacturer guidelines (typically 20–30 cm / 8–12 inches depending on enclosure setup). Proper distance ensures safe and effective UV exposure.

Replacement is recommended once per year with average use of around 8 hours per day, as UVB output from fluorescent lamps gradually decreases over time.
